Cesar Sanchez

Head Chef & Owner

Chef Cesar was classically trained as a tenor and has traveled and sung opera in the United States, Spain, Italy, Germany and Romania as well as his Mexican homeland. He was bestowed the title of “Ambassador of the Arts” from the Mexican government. Cesar began his musical studies as a boy chorister at The Church of the Sacred Heart in Tijuana, Mexico. Later he was awarded a scholarship to the prestigious Escuela Superior de Musical Sacra in Guadalajara, Mexico. Further scholarships led to Salzburg, Austria at the famous Mozarteum University Conservatory of Music.

Next to music, Chef Cesar’s other love is sharing his passion for good food and traditional Mexican cuisine.

While a world traveler, Sanchez made his home in San Diego more than 10 years ago, maintaining close ties to family on both sides of the border.
